Outside and check in at lobby are 70's style, inside rooms more nowadays style, they are big, clean, good wifi, fridge worked fine. Motel surrounded by mexican restaurants, mexican supermarket, mexican bakery, more like tijuana, not oregon. But good for a night in between mt hood and the coast.

If you just need a place to sleep at night and not looking to spend a fortune, this is your place! The staff was amazing! The rooms were great size and very clean. It was quiet. Id say my only flaw was our bed would creek everytime we rolled over so it would wake the other person up but overall it was perfect for what we needed.

Despite having no smoking sighns all over, the place reeked of cigarettes. Rooms felt nicer then the rest of the motel but still smelled and didn't feel the cleanest. The parking lot had high traffic of homeless people walking through and dumpster diving. The doors locked at 11 only allowing access to those with room keys which made us feel a little safer but the individual doors did not have a deadbolt. Overall it was fine for just a night or 2 but if we had kids with us I would definitely have picked somewhere else.

I've been going to the Dunes for years. I've been out of state for about 10 years now. when I came back and needed a motel, I found my go-to and got a room. Much to my surprise, the room was newly renovated and upgraded. It looks great. My hang-up, and I'll still give 5 stars, is the price was about $20 too high. I was surprised at the rate, as they were usually pretty reasonable. I also didn't like that I was quoted a way different price online, but it is not the end of the world. Come check thia place out. It's walking distance to fast food, restaurants, and a store. It's a nice walk to downtown hillsboro, too.

Very nice 16 × 10 foot rooms with a Queen Size Bed. Comes with a working AC, Microwave, a small Refrigerator and a Freezer! Very nice Bath tubs ??

Someone tried to get my hotel key at this location and they even lied to me and said they do price comparison at the front desk just to say they charge base rates just for me to find out they are supposed to. Atleast they were ok with me leaving a review saying I was lied to about the price comparison because that actually made me laugh but at least shows they appreciate the opportunity to improve. 1 star for ya!
