This Motel 6 in Tigard-Portland Southwest is experiencing mixed reviews, with recent guests praising its updates and friendly staff. However, older reviews highlight significant cleanliness and maintenance issues, including pests, unpleasant smells, and cosmetic repairs. The location offers convenience with nearby restaurants and freeway access.
Poorly managed and incredibly unfriendly to the local community. They would rather see their parking lot sit empty and have neighbors' cars towed without notice than work toward a common-sense solution with nearby businesses. It’s a hostile way to run a business in this area. Definitely not the kind of atmosphere I’d want to support with my stay."
Booked and stayed for 4 nights without any expectations. The place was very well-kept and very peaceful. Sean and Max were great at providing assistance for when I needed. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a calm and surprisingly quiet place to stay just beyond Portland proper!
Actually a really nice and updated rooms. Rooms are quiet. The front desk clerk is super nice . Would stay again.
I was very impressed with the location, updates and quality of all the staff and housekeeping. The manager was very attentive and followed up on extra towels. The housekeeping staff was very attentive and accommodating. The motel is updated, clean, greatly price and close to nice restaurants, shopping and easy access to freeway. I would highly recommend.
I had a wonderful time here, when we first came in there was construction right outside our room and we got our room switched with no issues. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean, smelled nice, and had all the basic amenities. I had no issues at any point. We originally planned to stay for just a night but ended up being there for 3 or 4 nights. 10/10 best Motel 6 in the Tigard area. You'll definitely see me again! Thanks for the awesome stay!!
Clean but with some minor cosmetic repairs needed. Front desk clerk was awesome. Cats ok. After traveling all day from Spokane, we were tired and hungry. The hotels that popped up on Mapquest as pet friendly either weren't or didn't take cats. I was very happy to find this place. Got a hot shower, food, and a good nights sleep. Would stay here again.
Nothing to great about this motel, I would say the bathroom in the photos didn’t match the bathroom in the room we got. The room smelt like smoke, ants on the bathroom floor near the shower, there was a earring left on the bed frame from previous guests, Tv remote was sticky and the bathroom floor in front of the shower felt like my husband and I were going to fall through the floor. We did discuss our concerns to the front desk as soon as we got our room. They were very accommodating and gave us a refund but did offer a different room but we passed on that nice gesture. The front staff was very helpful in my opinion.
If i could give this place a 0 I would. I made the mistake and chose cheap. Our apartment was being resurfaced and fumes were crazy. Show up and went to check in. The smell in the office literally smelled like sewage. Absolutely disgusting. After we checked in he gave us our room. The first thing I noticed when I walked into the room was the crazy amount of bugs inside. Yes bugs. It was fly infested moth infested whatever those little tiny moth things are I don't know but they were everywhere. I refused to stay in that room not to mention there were gunshots holes in the siding. Went back to the disgusting smelly Lobby I told the bro that I wanted a different room that was not bug infested. The second room was better. Bro gets a 4 for service cause he did let us change rooms without issue. The bed was hard as a rock. Ill never stay there again. For the price, I would rather sleep in my car or tent. NASTY!
I stayed here for one night while visiting a friend nearby. My room (#105) seemed clean and updated on first inspection when I checked in around 5pm. It is a Motel 6 so I wasn't expecting too much, but I was surprised to see that the interior seemed fairly modern and the bed was actually very comfortable. Unfortunately, the experience gets 2 stars for the 2 roaches that I found in my bathroom late at night. Pretty disgusting to be honest. One of the shower towels was stained too. I feel like this place could be a lot better if they paid a little bit more attention to cleaning and if they had a regular pest service. I doubt I'd stay here again. Also, it was a little over $100 for a single night when it feels like this hotel should be charging closer to $70 max per night. Anyway....wouldn't recommend.
