The Larkspur Landing in Hillsboro offers a convenient and well-equipped extended-stay option with full kitchens and ample amenities like free parking and WiFi. Recent reviews highlight cleanliness and a solid breakfast, but a significant bedbug incident raises serious concerns. Overall, it's a good value for business travelers and those seeking a self-catering experience.
We have stayed here twice while attending a conference. We love the accommodations. Each room has a full refrigerator and the capability to make your own meals. The breakfast options are also fun- you can make Miso soup and there is rice available, in addition to traditional fare like sausage, eggs, muffins, yogurt, and French toast.
Great stay, early check in, very good breakfast, ample parking, very clean lobby, rooms. Bathroom is great and kitchette features are more than sufficient for long stays. Highly recommended hotel and perfect location to neighboring business, shops and food places. Worth the price!
Nice extended stay hotel with all the expected amenities for a business traveler. The rooms are slightly dated but mine was clean and the smart TV and internet worked great which is most important for me. The staff is great! I left my headphones in my room and one of their managers, Dayhna, went above and beyond to help send them back to me. When I'm back in Hillsboro I will be staying with them again!
This is in response to Pankaj Gupta’s Review 2 months ago. I have personally been staying here one night a week for work for the last 4 months. I have stayed at three other Name Brand hotels, and I choose the Larkspur over the others. This hotel is clean and crisp, and feels brand new, even though they have been open for years! I have never smelled weed or any other cigarettes EVER. Perhaps, it was Gupta’s pungent cooking aromas that was breathed in? Yes, this hotel doesn’t have bar refrigerators and microwaves for cooking - they have Full-Sized Refrigerators for ALL of your cooling/freezing needs, along with 2-Burner Stove Tops, perfect for Pasta on one side & the Sauce on the other. Yes, there’s pots & pans, and plates and silverware and glasses and cups galore. WOW!! Did I mention Free WiFi? And Free Parking, unlike the Holiday Inn Portland that actually Charges $12 per day to Park there?!!! Close to restaurants and the Hillsboro Library. Yes, their Dining Area is on the smaller side. If you’re antisocial like Pancake sounds, you can bring your food back to your Room and dine in silence…
I checked in about 7pm on October 8, 2025. The room looked clean and nice. Just as I was about to try to sleep, I caught movement out of the corner of my eye. I got up and turned on the light. When I pulled back the covers there were BEDBUGS everywhere! I called the front desk immediately (about 1am). They did not seem surprised and offered to move me to another room. I opted to check out since I didn't trust any room in that hotel now. To their credit, they agreed immediately to give me a full refund for the entire reservation amount. It's a shame because it seemed like a nice place but there's no way to get past a bedbug infestation :(
Nice hotel, near enough to Portland you can enjoy the city without being in the city. The room was clean and spacious with good AC and a comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly the entire stay. Their manager Dayhna went above and beyond helping us out when we left a pair of boots in one of the closest, locating them and walking me through the process to get them shipped back to me, even dropping them off at the post office for us so I didn't have to schedule a pick up. Wonderful stay, would definitely recommend and stay there again myself.
Room was full stocked with all kitchen ware I could think of. Breakfast was wonderful. Hot and cold options, everything from sausages to cheese. Good variety of juices, even rice options. Plenty of soaps and towels. Walls are a little thin but an easy fix to not put guests all next to eachother. Overall really nice hotel thats close to HWY 26!
During this summer, we took son to play tournaments in the U.S., we experienced many hotels, and this hotel is really good! Over expected ! A big suite and separate sofa bed. Free laundry , free parking . And the breakfast provides many items… although the hotel looks bit old…
Rooms had smoke or weed smell. Having a Kitchen is good, but I did not feel like cooking in it due to the smell. Rooms were clean but felt very old. Front desk and breakfast staff is nice. Breakfast was decent but they have only 4-5 small tables and it gets over crowded.
Great hotel. Cabinetry is definitely a bit antiquated but everything else is fine. The breakfast was excellent, lots of food options. There is also a super cute park right next to this hotel with ducks and streams and beautiful green grass. It’s a very pleasant two mile walk.
