The Comfort Inn & Suites Tualatin-Portland South consistently receives positive feedback for its friendly staff, clean facilities, and convenient location. Guests appreciate the included breakfast, pet-friendly environment, and well-maintained pool and hot tub. While some have noted minor cosmetic details, the overall experience is considered comfortable and reliable.
Upon entering the hotel I was warmly greeted by the manager. She was so kind and gracious and remembered my name throughout my stay. The atmosphere was clean and pleasant. I was given a room on the third floor for my week-long stay so that I wouldn't be interrupted by noise above me (very thoughtful). The room was clean and well taken care of. Breakfast options were varied and delicious. The pool and hottub area were clean with towels provided. Nice location.
We were on the south side of the building. Was quiet. Breakfast and service was excellent. Only complaint. The toilet was too low and there wasn't any grab bars.
This is my review for our 1/26/26 stay. This is our 3rd time staying at this Comfort Inn. As always, the staff were exceptional from check-in/out & Evelyn working the continental breakfast. We were excited to get a different room this time (#121) & everything was perfect. The dog area is exceptional. Review from 11/2025: This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this comfort Inn & we will continue to stay here for future trips. We want to give a thumbs up for exceptional service from Evelyn, working the continental breakfast. She was extremely kind & helpful. On our previous stay, she assisted me in the laundry room. The only negative to the room (and we got the same room both times we stayed..123) was an extremely bright light that shown in. The area for pets is the best we have seen. A nice large green area and plenty of space for walking.
In the past, Comfort Inn was not known to be a good, clean hotel. I had to book this hotel because it was closest to a hospital that I was visiting and I was PLEASANTLY surprised! It should be 4 1/2 stars. The waiting area was clean and relaxing. Alejandra was so pleasant and helpful at the front desk. My room was updated nicely and most importantly, it was clean! Every part of the hotel that I visited was clean! Breakfast wasn't anything special, but it was nice to be included with the room price and it was clean and stocked nicely. The person working the breakfast was very pleasant and she was on top of keeping it stocked and clean. I would definitely recommend this Comfort Suits location. The only reason it wasn't 5 stars is because they didn't have high end, spa toiletries. The soaps and lotions that they did provide were nice and pleasant, just not as fancy as a 5 star hotel.
This is the second time we have stayed at this comfort Inn suites and we will continue to stay here for any future trips to Tualatin. We specifically want to give a thumbs up for exceptional service from Evelyn. She was working in the continental breakfast area and was extremely kind and helpful. On our previous stay, she assisted me in the laundry room. The only negative to the room (and we got the same room both times we stayed..123?) was an extremely bright light that shown in. The windows only open a crack, so the only way to get air in is if the curtains are all the way open. We weren’t able to do this, due to the bright light shining in. The area for pets is the best we have seen. A nice large green area and plenty of space for walking.
I have stayed at the Comfort Inn in Tualatin several times before, but never in my life have I experienced anything as humiliating, disrespectful, and downright disturbing as my most recent stay. During my visit, the hotel called the police on me based on false accusations—while I was an active, paying guest. I was dealing with a private medical matter related to ongoing treatment and medication, which was completely misinterpreted and mishandled. Instead of empathy or professionalism, I was met with harassment, racial bias, and threats from both staff and law enforcement. The entire incident was an outrageous overreaction, and I have the entire confrontation recorded on video. To make matters worse, I was told an employee “feared” me trespassing—an absurd and insulting claim, considering I offered to calmly meet and clarify everything in person. This was a blatant act of discrimination, false reporting, and negligence by staff who clearly failed to communicate or verify basic facts before escalating. I am absolutely disgusted with how this property handled the situation and will be filing a formal complaint against the employee responsible for calling the police under false pretenses. No guest should ever be treated this way, especially while experiencing a medical emergency. Comfort Inn Tualatin—shame on your staff for their behavior, lies, and complete lack of human decency.
What's not to love? Pool + hot tub were working and great. Super chill, and breakfast was fine. The waffles were yummy and it was nice to have eggs, bacon, and orange juice. I am leaving a good review because I had some personal trouble and annoying conversations while I was there and hope I didn't bother the staff. They were friendly and they do a fine job.
We just checked out of this lovely hotel. Comfort inn is the perfect name for it too. Located in a quiet woodsy area, comfy bed, delicious free hot breakfast, kind and helpful staff. Clean and tidy. I would give it 10 stars if I could.
I am a sales rep for a nationwide company, so I do a lot of traveling all across the United States. This Comfort Inn & Suites is easily among the top I have ever stayed at. Friendly staff, safe, clean, and wonderful beds. I highly recommend staying at this property if you are in this area.
We loved this hotel! It isnt fancy shmancy but its great! The pool is nice and luke warm the breakfast is awesome! They allow pets it was just a great mini vacation! Loved it all and i am glad we picked this hotel. It was in between the outlets, salem and downtown portland so it met all our needs and there were a lot of close stores and food places
