The Holiday Inn Hillsboro offers a central location near key destinations like the airport, Nike, and Intel. Guests generally appreciate the cleanliness and comfortable beds, particularly the friendly staff and easy check-in/out process. However, some recurring issues include unexpected parking fees, a lack of included breakfast, and inconsistencies with room amenities like sofa bed sizes and bathroom door functionality.
Great hotel located near the Hillsboro airport, Nike, Intel, and other prominent destinations. Booking was very easy through IHG's app and pricing was transparent. Our beds were comfortable and everything was very clean, including our bathroom, the pool room, and gym room. They always had free coffee, tea, and water near the elevator for guests and the towels never ran out in the pool room, which was great. Their dining area is very spacious with ample seating, too! The hotel staff were all super friendly and check-in/check-out was smooth and easy; if you have the app, you can check-out there and be on your way. There were only a couple sticky points for us. When booking the room, the listing for our king bed and standard sofa bed room states it accommodates four people. Unfortunately, the sofa bed was smaller than what is typical of a sofa bed size, which is a full size; this was a twin size. Had that been mentioned on the website, I would have tried for a different room type. We made it work, though! If you travel with little kids are okay with having an extra person in the king bed, it's probably fine. Another consideration is the bathroom door in our room was a sliding barn-type door without a locking mechanism. If you prefer a locking bathroom door, this may bother you. Finally, the last thing I'd say you need to be mindful of is that you pay for parking in their lot and the breakfast is not included with your reservation. Overall, this hotel was central to where we visited around Hillsboro and we really enjoyed our time. I'll likely book here again!
A welcoming mood wraps around you almost instantly, before the true charm of the place has fully registered. The arrival feels sincere and expertly paced, the menu is tight without ever seeming sparse, and the room holds a quiet stillness that leaves the outside noise behind. No single element tries to steal the spotlight, yet all the pieces connect so effortlessly that getting comfortable happens in a flash and walking out the door feels surprisingly tough.
Stayed at this beautiful hotel for the weekend and it was an amazing time, Ms.Ekimoto made our stay even more special with the great costumer service her and her team provided. It was definitely a busy weekend with the youth teams here but we did not feel left out. Folks the pictures don’t do it justice this is truely a beautiful place. We will be back.
Very happy with our experience here! Staff was very friendly and very helpful. They upgraded our stay without charging due to short notice issues that arose and even waived our parking fee. Very appreciated and the ladies up front were extremely kind. Jessica at the Breakfast station was also fantastic and I have to give her a shout out for how wonderful her service was the 2 days we stayed but also for how she handled and extremely rude customer. Her professionalism and kindness during that interaction we watched was impressive and she continued to maintain service for everyone else. We really appreciated the hospitality and will be recommended this hotel to others.
Stayed two nights here and the room Mr. Sean Supnet chose for us was very comfortable!! You can tell a lot about a place by how clean and well kept the bathroom is, and I can say it was it was the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in! The AC/heater was working well, the adjustable lighting was cozy, bed and pillows were soft that i fell asleep in few minutes… The room also had everything I needed for a short stay: hair dryer, microwave, fridge…etc. I also enjoyed the all you can eat buffet breakfast there at the nice lobby with great lighting! Thank you so much, would definitely come back the next time I travel here
Definitely a mixed bag staying here. Rooms are pretty clean and quiet but the bathroom floors are past their expiration date. They charge $10 a night for parking even if you book 3rd party and they don't tell you about the charge. Good quiet location but no free breakfast. Front desk staff have all been friendly but I think I'll find a different place next time I'm in the area.
Initial stays were good but lately experiencing bed bites and found upside down live roach on the ac unit. Laptop safe was not working, didnt fix the battery after multiple requests. Room was not made after requesting at the front desk too. Otherwise, quiet and clean among other hotels in hillsboro-beaverton area. Reasonably priced with nice location close to restaurants, intel, nike. Staff is very curteous. Might change hotels though if I keep experiencing above issues.
Beautiful place to stay, I came here with my mom to visit family and the service was above and beyond. Very modern, there’s a gym and little office space to work in the lobby if you need. The rooms were nice although they don’t have tubs. And the pool/hot tub is out of order right now. The breakfast was good, all you can eat! The lady who serves breakfast was very nice and attentive. There’s a bar and grille with two ladies that served us with smiles and good food. Four star only because the lady in the morning has a lot of attitude, my mom said she isn’t very nice with her words, said that needs some work. Other than that the front desk service was amazing, grace is very professional and easy to talk to. Also, there’s so many restaurants around you will never run out of options. If youre looking for a place to stay for a few days, I recommend this one!
Summer the bartender is the reason why we keep coming back. We stay twice a week and often times come on nights that we don’t stay, just to get a drink from Summer. Additionally, Sean and Grace at the front desk have always come in clutch, super welcoming and make our stays fun and easy. Anna is perfectly suited for management responsibilities with a blend of personal professional and accommodating.
Very very nice people. Ana at breakfast & Cori at check inn were excellent. Complimentary Coffee at the elevators is very nice. Rooms very nice, shower/bathroom great. The only issue we had was when we arrived we were told there was only paid parking. $10. We were surprised by that since the booking site listing didn’t mention that anywhere. But upon checkout, we told them out concern and they refund parking.
