1 Star This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The first room we were assigned smelled strongly of urine, which appeared to be masked with air fresheners. The room also had visible mold, a vent pulling away from the wall, and a large smeared stain on the wall. It should never have been rented to a guest. After requesting a room change, we were given a second room that wasn’t much better. There was urine on the toilet seat, and the couch had noticeable body imprints, making it appear as though someone had just been sitting there. It immediately raised concerns about whether the room had been properly cleaned or inspected. The hotel itself felt old, worn down, and neglected. There were visible maintenance issues throughout, including stained walls, deteriorating caulking, and gaps in trim work. The elevators were unsettling, frequently jolting and dropping during operation, and the elevator floors were often wet. Security was also a concern. A woman who appeared to be soliciting repeatedly circled the parking lot for hours without any apparent intervention from hotel staff. To make matters worse, the hotel charges $17 per day for parking. Guests are being charged over $400 for a two-night stay, even with a veteran discount, yet the cleanliness, maintenance, and overall condition of the property fall far below what should be expected from an Embassy Suites. This property is a poor reflection of both the Embassy Suites and Hilton brands. Between the urine odors, mold, unsanitary conditions, maintenance issues, security concerns, and additional fees, this hotel failed on nearly every level. I would strongly discourage anyone from staying here until significant improvements are made.

Had a wonderful stay at Embassy Suites by Hilton Portland Tigard! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from check-in to check-out. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast was excellent with plenty of options. One of the best parts was how pet friendly the hotel was. It made traveling with our pet so much easier and more enjoyable. The location was also fantastic, with Washington Square nearby and a Target within walking distance, which made shopping and grabbing essentials super convenient. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Portland/Tigard area!

This Hilton is a great place to stay. The free breakfast is actually really good. The staff making the omelets always provide great service and have amazing personalities. The food is always fresh, especially the fruit, and they consistently have exactly what I’m looking for. There’s always somewhere comfortable to sit, and the atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming. One thing I really appreciate is the security. You can’t really get in or out without your car access, even through the stairwells, which makes the place feel very safe. Even when the hotel seems busy, there’s always parking available, which is a huge plus. The staff throughout the hotel are friendly, professional, and helpful. On top of that, housekeeping does a very thorough job cleaning the rooms every day, and they do it quickly without sacrificing quality. Overall, it’s been a really comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Absolutely fantastic experience! Stayed for 5 nights with my wife and 2 kids. We were blown away with the sheer awesomeness of this hotel. The staff was unbelievably kind and welcoming. The fresh breakfast was better than any of the hotels I have stayed previously. Happy hour every day with free drinks and snacks. A soda fountain available for use. They also have a decent convenience store in the lobby and a great indoor pool. We did get room service one night from the restaurant and were extremely satisfied. Great for families. Great for anyone. Will probably only use Embassy Suites from now on.

We arrived February 28th and was told our room was ready. We went up to the room to find dirty towels full garbage can. It was gross. When we went back to the front desk they apologized and sent someone to clean it. They said the floor had been closed for a week so the system showed the room as ready. We returned a couple hours later went back to the room, to find ants on the bathroom floor. My mother in law pulled back the covers on one of the beds to find a dead beetle looking bug in the bed. We immediately gathered our things and checked out. When we told the front desk they didn't even blink an eye or send anyone to the room. I guess for $400 room my expectations were a little higher than what we found. And now several phone calls later we are still trying to get our money back. I would seriously sleep in the car before ever staying at an Embassy Suites again...

Dated and somewhat neglected property with several issues on cleaning... below what we've come to expect from other embassy suites and in this hotel category at a high price point. Pet hair everywhere when we checked into our room and no daily housekeeping or new towels or garbage removal unless you specifically ask. Only bright spot at breakfast were made to order eggs, otherwise a pretty poor buffet. The staff we encountered were mostly fine, a few pretty disinterested but a couple really good too. On the positive side, very large rooms and comfy beds. Overall, not a pleasant stay plus poor value - you can get a nicer, clean room and amenities even going down a star at nearby properties and pay much less or stick in this category and get much more comfort, so that's what I'll do next time.

This hotel has it all- great locatio, comfortable rooms and wonderful atmosphere. Located near to a big mall close to main road, each room is actually a mini suite with a guest room and a bedroom, with facilities. Breakfast with huge selection and e ending reception that let you mingle with others. Fully recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay. Professional and courteous service. Nice and well maintained rooms. Wonderful lounge and dining experience. Recommended for anyone interested in above average accommodation.

Needed a quiet place to work and found a great room! Fast WiFi, easy to set up my remote workstation with power and communications. An awesome breakfast and a nice wind-down at the end of the day. I will be back!

The front desk staff was super nice and dressed very professionally. The hotel is very clean and had a great vibe going on. Great location and the bar staff was very friendly and helpful. The decor is very elegant and eye catching. I am really glad I decided to stay at this establishment. See you guys next time I'm in town. Xoxoxo
