Staybridge Suites Hillsboro North offers a comfortable and affordable extended-stay option with convenient amenities like free breakfast, laundry facilities, and a kitchenette. Guests consistently praise the friendly staff and cleanliness of the rooms, but some have noted challenges with consistent service and breakfast offerings.
5/5 stars!!! It was my first time staying here and it did not dissapoint. The staff is super friendly and welcoming from the moment you check in up until the end. Free parking, free breakfast, AND free washer and dryer to use! Everything was clean. I had a excellent stay here and will stay again!
Nice clean hotel with clean rooms, friendly staff, and a decent breakfast. The noise was pretty bad in the room from other rooms and the hall. If you aren't sensitive to noise then it's a really nice hotel.
This hotel is just one Jacuzzi short of perfect! I mean… how do you not have a Jacuzzi in cold Oregon?! And no in-room hot tubs either! But honestly, everything else was exceptional — especially at such a great price. The cleanliness, the spacious rooms, the bathroom, the kitchenette (even had a dishwasher!), plus free laundry and a really solid breakfast. Huge shoutout to the night staff for their outstanding customer service. Patrick at the front desk was amazing, and according to my nephew, Gloria in the kitchen/breakfast area as well, my nephew says Patrick is the GOAT! If they add a Jacuzzi, this place would be unbeatable. Highly recommend!
The stay at the hotel was pleasant. We received very professional service at the front desk from Mr. Patrick, who is very professional and attentive. We received very helpful service. The rooms are clean, and we received room cleaning service from Mrs. Ruby. The entire cleaning staff is very attentive and helpful. The pool is clean. The towels are clean, and the breakfast staff always keeps everything clean and tidy. Congratulations to your very professional cleaning staff.
Gotta say, as someone who was a flight attendant for the longest time, I’ve seen some crazy hotels while working for both Delta Air Lines and United Airlines, now having a family and doing these travels and reviews… this was a last minute decision and was having issues finding a spot on the coast. It was only an hours drive from Tillamook, but they were so kind, gave us a late check out especially due a late check in! But they were great up front! They seemed happy to work with us, and we were almost debating on staying again! Great job guys! You guys were awesome!
Rooms are bright. Curtains don't keep the light out, plus the light switch is a night light. Terrible for people who enjoy a dark room. Breakfast was better than most.
I would opt for the Residence Inn or Home2 Suites over this place. This hotel could be great but it is not. The facilities themselves are clean, modern, and comfortable. The location is safe, though a bit out of the way. It’s a drive to get to anything. All the issues with this hotel are related to staffing levels, training, and possibly attitude. If you request that they not clean your room on certain days they will ignore you or fail to communicate the request to housekeeping… repeatedly. Their “do not disturb” and “no cleaning needed” cards are tiny refrigerator magnets that do not stick to the door or anywhere useful. They run out of basics like catchup and don’t replace them. The elevator is fast, but seems to either be under maintenance or being cleaned at times of the day when it’s needed the most, such as the hours people are checking in. Most of the time there is no one at the front desk, and there is no bell to ask for attention, so you need to call out for them. The staff presents as friendly and professional, but there are all the signs that they are underpaid and understaffed. On the bright side the kitchen has almost everything you need (though I did have to go buy a sponge when the front desk couldn’t be bothered to find one). I was happy to find a traditional coffee maker and not a single serving Keurig type nuisance. There is an actual stovetop, not just a microwave. The refrigerator is full size. If you cook your meals while traveling these things matter. The beds and pillows are wonderful. The room itself is fantastic. Unlike many hotels in the area, I have no concerns about car break-ins or homeless people camping in the area.
This was by far the nicest, most comfortable, "extended stay," type of hotel I've ever stayed at. We didn't want for anything. There was plenty of everything. Including dishes, pots & pans, utensils, salt/pepper packets & paper towels .Was surprised to find a wine bottle opener, potato peeler & can opener in the utensil drawer. Beyond comfortable beds & pillows. Their complimentary breakfast, was well wort
I was extremely pleased with my stay at this hotel. Customer service was friendly and quick to get us checked in. The hotel was clean and had a comfortable atmosphere. The room was top notch!! I rented a Queen Studio on a Saturday night unexpected while traveling. I am not a fan of staying at hotels honestly I'm not a fan of staying anywhere besides home and I was more than happy to stay at this hotel and I slept great. I was very pleased with the cost of the room as well. For the first time this year I spent money on something that was fair and wasn't jaw dropping overly priced. I seldom eat breakfast but I took full advantage of the breakfast bar after smelling it once I got off the elevator. I even went back for an extra scoop of hash browns and gravy. Another bonus for staying at this hotel is it very close to the Rice Museum and I am a lover of Rocks. Thank you Staybridge for making me feel so comfortable and smile this weekend.
I stay here a ton for work but hadn't been back since last fall and oh how it's changed! The front desk was still great and the house cleaning was too, but the breakfast was horrible all 4 days. There was some old scrambled eggs and sausage, no bread on 2 of the days at all! Only waffles. And that was it. The day they did have bread it was white bread and bagels, but no cream cheese. They used to be spot on with breakfast and the M-W happy hour but it's not worth it if you are looking for a good breakfast! Otherwise everything else was great as usual.
