The Home2 Suites by Hilton Portland Hillsboro consistently receives positive reviews, highlighting its family-friendly amenities, comfortable rooms with full kitchens, and convenient location near restaurants and shopping. While some guests appreciate the helpful staff and breakfast options, concerns regarding noise levels and staff responsiveness have been raised.
Great place for families! They even serve rice for breakfast, which Asian Pacific Islanders will appreciate. The rooms include a full-size fridge, dishwasher, and microwave, making longer stays very convenient. Breakfast was great, and the property also has BBQ grills plus a nice sitting area with a fire pit for relaxing in the evening.
My family and I decided to stay here for my daughter’s 7th birthday as it was affordable and offered a great location along with nice amenities. Upon check-in a gentleman named Lucas greeted me at the desk and helped me. He was very kind and welcoming. He helped my family and I find the perfect room for our stay. We enjoyed their heated pool, as this is my daughter’s favorite thing about hotel visits. They also had a jacuzzi, for those that are wondering. The gym is also nice too, offering just enough variety for those looking to get their blood flowing a little bit. The location is nice, it offers nearby food, shopping, and entertainment options. At night, our family had a nice arts and crafts activity in their lobby and the staff even offered to print out coloring pages of specific characters for our kids. We tried to keep the noise down as best as we could, but the staff didn’t seem to mind. For breakfast we were greeting by kindly staff members, and they had a great spread of food options. Also, I’d like to mention we had our Pomeranian with us too, and there were a number of guests that also had pets with them. It’s safe to say the establishment had plenty of accommodations in mind for ADA, pets, and families. We look forward to staying again!! Thank you to the Home2 Staff!!
If I could give the staff more than 5 stars I would! We booked the meeting room for my daughters bridal shower and we stayed the weekend. We were able to get in Friday night to start decorating which was so helpful. Amy was wonderful from the first tour to checking in on Friday. She laid out all charges and what to expect. She made the booking process so easy. Upon arrival we were introduced to Angelina and she was a delight, such a very helpful young lady. There were unruly children with inattentive parents in the lobby, which lead to me getting punched in the side of the face. Angelina made sure every time I saw her this weekend to check on me and apologize even though she didn't have to as that should have been on the parents to do. Saturday we got to meet Lucas he instantly became one of our favor humans who went above and beyond to assist us with all our needs getting the room ready for our daughters amazing day. Our room was huge and so clean and comfy. Having the kitchen made it so easy for preparing the last minute desserts. We had all the bridal party and hair and make up in there at one point and it wasn't stuffy or crowed. All in all this mother of the bride to be walked away happy because her bride to be was shinning, smiling and feeling the love all weekend!
Kitchenette: small countertop, sink, dishwasher, cups, plates, bowls, silverware, can ask for portable stovetop & pans. Dorm or garage size refrigerator. Housekeeping if you ask for it, friendly and prompt service- had to ask for extra towels and bedding, super quick. Room had 2 queen beds and a sofa with a double size pull out mattress. Daily breakfast: eggs, hash browns, rice, tortillas, cheese, oatmeal & yogurt with fixings like brown sugar, fresh blueberries, coconut flakes, nuts, granola. Cereal, bread, bagels, waffle maker with whip cream, caramel sauce and hot honey, coffee station, 1% milk cartons. Pool and hot tub, gym with treadmills, ellipticals, yoga balls, stretch bands, & mat, kettle balls, free weights, a few machines. Fire pit outside with a lot of chairs.
The rooms were quite nice. The matress on my bed was a bit worn down. Staff were friendly and eager to help. The pool was nice, but remember to bring a towel, there are none there. The complimentary breakfast varies by day, but you can always make a fresh waffle, if you are willing to wait in line. For the price it is a good hotel.
This review is long overdue! We stayed in September and the staff at this location was the absolute best! They went above and beyond for my son’s birthday! They made the trip extra special and even gave my daughter a goodie bag too! Tenniel was so friendly and really made us feel at home. We were visiting from out of state and she printed out multiple places that she recommended to us. The hotel had a bbq on one of the nights we stayed and it was so convenient to be able to come back from a days worth of activities to a nice meal! They had burgers, hotdogs, and a bunch of sides and drinks to choose from. The laundry room was extremely convenient! We were able to do our laundry before flying back home so we had one less thing to deal with when we got home. They have a little convenience store area that has laundry soap as well. The kitchen in the room comes fully stocked. That made is super convenient for us to buy groceries and make easy dinners in the room. The room also came with tons of storage so we were able to unpack all of our suitcases and organize our clothes with plenty of room to spare. The complimentary breakfast is great! They have cereal, eggs, bagels, waffle maker, yogurt, and more! My kids loved the indoor pool and jacuzzi! This hotel was perfectly located. Not too far from Portland in a nice suburban city. Target is close by and there’s a ton of restaurants nearby as well. Thanks again Tenniel for making our stay extra special!! *the last 3 pictures are from when we were leaving to show how spacious the room is*
So inviting clean, friendlyoffered an amazing breakfast. Housekeeping made sure we had everything needed to make our stay comfortable
I didn't stay here but never will now due to having literally the most incredible conversation with the front desk person over the phone when trying to discuss my group reservation. I had booked my reservation through their main system. However I found an error and called back, being told that I had to speak with the hotel directly to correct it. The person I got clearly does not even remotely like their job. First they chastised me for calling at 7pm, then refused to tell me the contact name for group sales nor would tell me what their hours are nor would give me a direct number. That they didn't know who I was and that the person could be going through a divorce or personal issue and that I needed to respect their privacy. HUH??? I was so confused by this. How does the sales desk do business if no one knows who to contact, when or how? I then ask ok, how about if we check to see if you even have the rooms I need, because if not, I'll need to look elsewhere. Big SIGH. This person literally sighed into the phone and said in the most irritated voice, you've asked this question 5 different ways and before when you called and I can't tell you anything. For the record, this was my 1st call to this hotel. But yes, I was trying to see if they even had room for us, which this person could not be bothered at all to look into. If this is the first person people greet at this establishment, I would be very surprised if you have any guests.
Do not stay here if you want to sleep!! We’ve been staying here for almost a week and there is no sound proofing between rooms. The first night we heard multiple rooms having sex at different times. Last few nights I can hear practically every word in the conversation of our neighboring room. And worst of all, above us now there is a family with kids running and parents walking and we can hear it all as if they’re stomping. They woke my daughter from her nap yesterday and made her scared. Then last night they woke me and my daughter up at 530am with running and walking. Again just don’t stay here!
When I checked in yesterday via app and in person I made it very clear I need good night sleep as I've been driving 10 hours each day and have another 12 hours to drive tomorrow. Since 6:30 AM this toddler has been running nonstop across the room like a football field. When I asked yesterday if this was a quiet room or have anyone preventing me from that the answer shouldn't have been yes. Here are video footages. Listen carefully for the jumping off the furnitures and sprinting across back and forth the room. This is absolutely the worst Hilton hotel I've been in during this trip and as a Gold member I am deeply disappointed. When I reached out multiple times to the staff all they can do is "extend for late checkout". How can you sleep through something like this when your windows and ceilings are shaking whenever the toddler jumps off furniture's or sprints nonstop? I can hear it through my earplugs. Hotel's response was not helpful as the told me I can move to different room. I am not loving my 10+ bags in the middle of my sleep. And since it's past quiet hours (situation took place 6:30- past 9am), there's not much they can do.
