The Grand Hotel at Bridgeport receives generally positive reviews, highlighting its comfortable rooms, helpful staff, and convenient location. However, some guests have experienced issues with breakfast options, room temperature, and facilities like the hot tub. Recent feedback suggests excellent customer service, particularly regarding lost and found items.
I stayed here for a few nights for work and was very pleased. The staff were kind and attentive and welcomed me even though I arrived after 10 PM; they did not miss a beat! The room was very clean and larger than I expected with all of the necessary amenities. The bed was king-size and comfortable. The location is perfect, everything you need is nearby and the highway is close as well. Luckily for me, it was 3 minutes from the office too. When it came time to leave, naturally, I forgot my smart watch charger and 1 other item. I realized after I got home to Seattle, and gave the hotel a call. I spoke to Jeff and he was exceedingly helpful. He located my item by the following morning and contacted me again and arranged the return via mail. They even located a second item I did not realize I had left behind. I really appreciate the customer service Jeff provided. I know how lost-and-found calls can be tricky, as I've worked as a security dispatcher for the light-rails in Seattle, so I'm very grateful Jeff went out of his way to find and return my items as well as remembering to get back in touch with me after the items were found. Thanks, Jeff!
The hotel provided a pleasant experience, and the accommodations were exceptionally comfortable. My children and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your establishment.
The hotel has a pleasant facade and welcoming lobby that feels nice to enter. Location is great, next to all the shopping options! Greetings at the front desk were wonderful with quick service. The room we had smelt like it had received many uses of the Sleep kit with Lavender, which I did not enjoy. Had to sleep with the window open to vent the room. Breakfast is ultimately what disappointed me the most. I'm gluten free, and there are no readily available options. You can request bread, that they'll toast from the freezer and bring to you (thank you for having that as a minimum). With the limited food options, I opted for cottage cheese, eggs, bacon and potatoes. I'm confident I received food poisoning from my breakfast yesterday. The cottage cheese smelled sour, so I had one spoon and quit. The eggs and potatoes didn't sit right either; both of which I mentioned to my husband. Since he didn't eat the same foods as me for breakfast, he isn't having any issue. My suspicion is the chilling unit isn't keeping the food cold enough, and the chafing dishes aren't keeping the food warm enough. Unacceptable. Now I'm sick on NYE, thanks.
We nabbed a jacuzzi tub suite with a fireplace for a night to recover from the holidays. The bed was very comfy (firm but soft), the linens were nice, and there were robes. The fireplace made the room unbearable hot so we had to sleep with the air conditioning on. The shower was of decent size and the shower head had ample pressure/water supply. Front desk staff were nice. The breakfast was not enjoyable. As a person who eats gluten free, there were few options to choose from. I had fruit, oatmeal and eggs with sausage. The sausages were not palatable and the eggs were ok. My partner had biscuits and gravy and the biscuits were rock hard. He opted for a waffle. I liked the homemade applesauce. The coffee was good and the tea selections were good. We visited the pool but it was too crowded with kids who were loud. It looked clean, as did the hot tub. The TV in the room should have a swivel arm from the wall so you can watch it more easily from the bed. Overall, I’d come back again and skip breakfast. The jacuzzi was spot on. A very relaxing night.
These rooms are spacious clean and well furnished. Not to mention the two person jetted tub that is wonderful. Check in was easy and fast and their texting service makes it very easy in case you may require something extra. I will stay here again and highly suggest this hotel.
With the exception of its proximity to the freeway, everything was perfect here. Great staff, large comfortable suite and even the breakfasts were good. Next visit to Willamette valley will definitely be staying here.
Room and bathroom felt clean, but I’m awake at 2 am because the thermostat isn’t t working properly and it’s overly warm and stuffy. Check in was terrible, we had to wait for two people who were supposed to be working the check in but they were chatting and when they came to serve my family they seemed put out. We were in a limited time line and although patiently waited were treated poorly. Beds are hard and the room is so stuffy. I wouldn’t recommend.
This hotel was warm, cozy and classy. Our room was well appointed, extremely clean and quiet. The front desk was helpful. The breakfast was truly delicious and the crew was very efficient.
I stayed at The Grand Hotel in Bridgeport for almost six weeks, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The room was very comfortable, always clean, and kept pleasantly warm, which made my extended stay even more enjoyable. The housekeeping team maintained a high standard of cleanliness, and the overall atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. Got hot and cold water For anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and well-maintained place to stay in Bridgeport — whether for a few nights or several weeks — I would highly recommend The Grand Hotel. It’s the perfect blend of comfort and care. And thank you for sending my parcel that left after my checkout to my country Malaysia ?????? tq molly
Just checked in with my wife only to find out that the hot tub is out of service because of some bs reason about the chlorine level not being right. We paid 750 for three nights in a place where the only reason we came was for the hot tub being that I just had both knees replaced in the last two years...the hot tub was going to be part of my rehab. Also, my wife and I had not had a vacation in two years because of my 92 year old mother who can't be alone. My older brother happened to be in town so it was the perfect opportunity...one that we won't get now because of the Bridgeport Grand Hotel. Thank Bill... general manager for torpedoing our life...I hope that what just happened to us doesn't to you or anyone else. Jon and Michelle Cowles
